Dear Colleague,
We are very pleased to host the upcoming 'International Conference for Fire & Rescue Executives' in Boston, Massachusetts on November 13 to 15, 2013. The conference theme is 'The New Reality: Can We Meet the Challenge?' and the conference will be hosted by the Boston Fire Department.
This conference will bring over 25 international and local fire chiefs and executives to Boston to speak about their leadership challenges and how they managed through the crises. You've heard about their stories in the media and now you will get the opportunity to hear it first hand from them. No textbook or leadership theory can adequately describe and teach you what they have learned through recent personal experiences. Crises are inevitable for every executive; how you manage through them will determine your success and longevity.
Some highlights of this conference include:
- 2 days of program agenda featuring guest speakers from Japan, Ireland, Austria, India, Switzerland, Hungary, Germany, Canada, the United Kingdom and the United States
- 'Talking with the Experts' - 2 sessions designed for open discussion
- 8 hours to network with other delegates
- Opportunity to learn about the latest products and services at the tradeshow
- Black tie (Dress Uniform) dinner banquet
We personally look forward to meeting you soon in Boston! Confirm your attendance early as space is limited for this 'must attend' conference of the year.
Sincerely,
| Roderick J. Fraser, Jr. Fire Commissioner Boston Fire Department |
Stephen D. Coan State Fire Marshal Massachusetts Department of Fire Services |
| Mario A. Orangio Fire Chief, Watertown Fire Department President, Fire Chiefs Association of Massachusetts |
